I only require a 3 day lead-in time for these types of cakes, if I'm not booked out - I know, I'm that good ;)
These are great options for those last minute "whoops, I forgot to order the cake" moments but still looks and feels like a custom (and thoughtful!) masterpiece - I got you ;)
These can be ordered and paid for straight from this website.
How far ahead should I place my order?
I recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance. I understand last minute events can pop up though so please always send an enquiry here and I can let you know if I am booked out or not.
I take orders up to 6 months in advance.
What about special Calendar Event packs/boxes?
Can I make any changes to my order?
Minor changes to an order can be done up until 7 days before the pick up date. This includes icing colour, board colour and adjusting pickup times. Major changes like cake size and acrylic topper alterations, must be communicated immediately and I will try my best to accommodate you.
What about allergies and liability?
Down to the business end of the stick...Shhweets will not be held responsible for any allergy related issues. Unless it is specified on your order, all products may contain or have been in contact with dairy, wheat, nuts, eggs, soy and other allergens.

It is the client’s responsibility to inform their guests of any risks.

Once your cake leaves my premises, I am not liable for anything that happens to it. If required, I will always try to fix up any damage if I can, however there will be a call out fee so please follow the advice above as best you can.
Shhweet as! (see what I did there)
What if I need to cancel?
As I operate on the system of secured bookings across given dates, unfortunately cancellations can lead to loss for my business. All orders require a 50% deposit at time of ordering to secure your date, and must be paid in full 7 days prior to the pick up date. This 50% deposit is non-refundable if you cancel/ change your mind.
Thank you for your understanding :)

Any personalised or custom cake items/toppers that have already been fabricated/purchased are 100% non-refundable.

For any COVID related cancellations your FULL deposit/ FULL payment will be credited to go towards an order for a later date (must be redeemed within 6 months of the initial event date).

Cake Care
You can have your cake and eat it too - just make sure you follow these simple tips below...
How do I transport my cake?
Always keep the box level, carrying from underneath. Whilst travelling by car, the safest place for your cake is in the footwell of the passenger side (not on the seat due to the slanted angle!). Drive safely and BLAST THAT AIRCON!
How do I store my cake after pick up/delivery?
Before leaving home/the venue, make sure there is cleared space ready in a fridge.
Place the boxed cake into the fridge as soon as possible.
For the best flavour and texture, allow your cake to come to room temperature before serving. Depending on the weather, this means removing your cake from the fridge 45-60 minutes (15-20 minutes for cupcakes).
Keep your treats out of the heat and sunlight.
Best consumed within 3 days.
How on earth do I cut this thing?
Start by removing any non-edible decorations (and internal supports if included).

-
Using a large knife, mark parallel score lines evenly across the top of the cake, approximately 1 inch apart (see image below).
-
Use a cutting board to support the side of the cake as you cut straight down to the cake board (A).
-
Cut this panel into even columns (B).
-
To double the number of serves, cut each column in half horizontally and transfer to serving plate/platter.
-
Again, use the cutting board to support your next cut (C).
-
Cut this panel into even columns (D).
-
Then cut in half horizontally.
-
Repeat for the remaining columns as pictured below.
